Sarah Coshan graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2017, returning home to work in the Mount Gambier community. She loves helping people from all walks of life, but has a passion for working with women that sparked a vision for a specialised women’s health clinic. In 2021 she started a Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Continence and Pelvic Health) at Curtin University and graduated in 2024.
She also holds qualifications in exercise, Certificate IV in Pilates (Mat and Reformer) and a Diploma of Clinical Pilates from Breathe Education in Melbourne. She is enthusiastic about women participating in movement in all forms, and believes the best exercise is the one that gets done – so she will help you find what feels good.

In Australia, physiotherapists are primary contact practitioners – you can access care without a referral. If you have two or more chronic conditions you may be eligible for a care plan from your GP, for Medicare subsidised visits. Ask your GP about it at your next appointment.
Click below to see our price list. If you are using a Medicare subsidised care plan (EPC), there will be a gap co-payment unless you have a concession card/student card. Thank you for understanding!
Of course! We have a HICAPS terminal so that you can claim your rebate on the spot. If you’d like to check with your health fund how much that rebate will be, reach out and we can provide you with the item number.
We offer supervised clinical exercise – this includes using Pilates equipment (reformer, Cadillac table, mat) as well as the GLA:D program for hip and knee osteoarthritis and rehabilitative exercise for other musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Women have unique health needs, as we are cyclic beings. That means at our significant life phases, our hormones have different impacts on our bodies structure and function. Women are also under-represented in health research and funding, despite accessing health care more. Embody is a space for women, by women – to meet you where you are, work through what you’re facing, and to feel at ease in your body. We are passionate about inclusivity and acknowledge that while ‘women’ is a gendered term, all female-identifying people, or those with female anatomy are welcome in our clinic.
